LAMB LEG

Ingredients for 8-10 persons
1 lamb leg of 6 pounds
2 beers
4 long onion branches
2 diced garlic cloves
1/2 spoonful of diced parsley
1/2 spoonful of diced basil
1/2 spoonful of ground thyme
1/2 spoonful of ground laurel
salt and pepper

Mix all the ingredients. Empale with a long fork the lamb leg and put a bit of the mixture on it, making sure that it enters in the holes. It has to rest from one day to another.

Boil for 2 hours in water that covers the leg.

Get it out and put it on the oven, preheated at 350 degrees, nearly during 20 minutes, rolling it till' it browns in all the sides.

If you prefer, you can only roast the leg: put it on the oven preheated at 300 degrees, let it brown.
